Information pursuant to Section 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196 of 30th June 2003

(Privacy Code)

Dear Customer / Supplier,

We herewith notify you that our company Cesar Arredamenti S.p.A., in compliance with Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, conforms to the legislative procedures required concerning privacy. Consequently, the personal data collected up to now, and all future data acquired, will be processed by us as follows:

a)Data types and the purpose of data processing. 

The purpose of data processing: data processing is carried out in order to send newsletters, to keep references concerning customers, for accounting purposes, to send commercial information, to send promotional materials, for interactive commercial communication and for purposes related to complying with accounting/fiscal obligations. The recorded and processed data includes: personal data (name, surname and tax code, etc.), e-mail address inserted by you on our website or issued in a different form by the user; the IP address automatically retrieved from the server, as well as the date and time of registration. The IP address and date and time of registration are memorized in order to guarantee proof of correct registration. Recorded data can also be used for statistical surveys concerning our company. Where necessary for the afore-mentioned purposes, data may also be communicated to third parties (see letter “e)”).

b) Undesired communication 

Any “undesired” advertising material, commercial communication or any other cases prescribed by section 130 of the Privacy Code will be sent upon consent of the data subject if communication means are used as indicated in the same aforementioned section.

c ) Data processing procedures..

Data will be mainly processed using electronic and computer software tools and in printed form. Consequently, it will be memorized on software applications and in printed form, or by any other appropriate means, according to the minimum security measures in compliance with attachment “B” concerning the technical regulations of the Minimum Security Measures of the “Privacy Code”.

d) The mandatory nature and the consequences of refusing to provide data.

All requested data is mandatory. In fact, all data collected by Cesar Arredamenti S.p.A., for the purposes listed in letter a), will be used to guarantee the data subject more and faster information. If any data is omitted, the data subject might not benefit from the requested service.

e) Third parties external to our company to whom data may be communicated..

When necessary, for the purposes of letter a), data may also be communicated to third parties external to Cesar Arredamenti S.p.A.

A short list follows of third parties to whom our company may transmit your data:

credit institutions;

professionals (business consultants, lawyers, etc.);

transport companies;

credit recovery institutions; f) The rights of the data subject as per Section 7

The data subject has the right to:

a) obtain confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning the data subject, and communication of such data in intelligible form;

b) to be informed of the source of the personal data; of the purposes and methods of processing; of the logic applied to processing via electronic means and of the identification data concerning the Data Controller;

c) to obtain from the Data Controller, without delay:

(i) the cancellation, transformation to an anonymous form or the stoppage of any data that has been unlawfully processed, including data whose retention is not required for the purposes for which it has been collected or subsequently processed;

(ii) updating, amendment or, where interested therein, integration of the data;

(iii) certification to the effect that the operations as per numbers (i) and (ii), and their contents, have been made known to the entities to whom the data has been communicated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared to the right that is to be protected;

d) to object, in whole or in part, on legitimate grounds, to the processing of his/her personal data, even though it is relevant for the purpose of collection;

e) to object, in whole or in part, to the processing of his/her personal data, where it is carried out for the purpose of sending commercial information, advertising materials or direct sales information, or else for the purpose of market or commercial communication surveys.


These rights may be exercised via written request by mail to the address indicated at the heading of this document, or via e-mail to the following address: privacy@cesar.it. 

The rights, where related to the personal data of a deceased person, may be exercised by any entity that is interested therein.

In exercising their rights, the contracting parties may grant, in writing, power of attorney or representation to natural persons.
